WOW I would love to take the drive - need to clear it with the wife and work though! I have visited/camped/hiked Montana's Glacier Park 3 times in the past. Always said if my company opened up a branch in Montana I would move in a heartbeat! When where you thinking? What kind of mods would be required to run the Commander on the trails you were considering?

2008 Jeep Green Rocky Mountain 4x4 4.7L, 245/65 R17 Fortera's,
class IV tow package w/shackle, front tow hooks, remote start,
MyGig w/backup cam, bun warmers, commandview, QTII,
Rocky Road Super Sliders (now installed and tested!), no lift, full Jeep OEM skid plates,
4xGuard Belly Guard, 4xGuard front skid, Surco 50 x 70 roof rack.

What about Labor Day Weekend?

That might give people enough time to plan. and the snow won't be here yet.

there are some great trails open that most commanders should be able to get over. i will be the winch man!

I just looked at the other site, how far into Montana is that from Cody?

06' Commander w/ Hemi, AEM Brute CAI, Superlift 4" lift, BFG All Terrain (245/75/17), aftermarket 17" wheels, Tactical Armor front and rear bumper, Steel armadillo rock sliders.

91 Grand Wagoneer - SOA, resprung leaf springs plus add a leaf, 33" tires, cross over stearing, 4.56 gears, high flow exhaust, rebuilt 360 .030 over plus cam, Future mods: ARB Air lockers (front & rear) Heavy Duty Bumpers (front & rear), 12,000 lb winch, fender cutting & flares to fit 35" tires...

its about 2 hours at the most from my house in cody. it is a nice senic drive through chief joseph highway. over a few mountain ranges, then a really cool canyon, and then you're at 8000 ft up to your 10000 ft elevation. you'll love it. you low landers and flat landers will have to bring an oxygen tank!
