The Hemi is amazing. If you stay out of it it does 20 on the highway. 15 putting around. We were so used to that under powered Rubicon you didn't dare pass half the time. Can't imagine this heavier commander with a V6. Planning on putting on some 285-70-17 as soon as the lift comes in. Will need the extra power to roll them.

@powerhorn you would be suprised i have the V6 with 265/70r17s on it and it handles them pretty well. dont get me wrong its not a hot rod but it gets around just fine.

I love the HEMI, truly wished JEEP would of stepped up an made an SRT8 version commander. My V8 is getting up in mileage an I would love to stick a 6. something in it!!

There is no "bought the v6 and wish I got the CRD" option

I want that!

Hemi, glad I did.

I have driven a 3.7 and there was nothing wrong with it, but it was gutless compared to the big dog. Also, a buddy of mine is a mechanic at a Jeep dealership and said that the 3.7's and 5.7's have half the problems of the 4.7.

To me, its the best of the three, reliability, power, and not really much of a hit on gas mileage.
