Stubby Antenna

Craven Speed Stubby - CRFF

no breaking off, no whipping, no snaggin on brush, easier access to windshield...


main drawback.... about 40 mile range limit vs stocker's 55+ miles...(dependant on terrain and interferance of course)

'06 4.7L 2" daystar, sensa-trac load adjusters, 265/70R17 (no spacers), skidplate package in garage waiting and filled with 4 rugrats.....

how much? i think that the stock antenna in that location is so ugly, that i just took mine off altogether. i have sirius so i literally NEVER use the radio. but that stubby doesnt look too bad. i may get one just to have the option to use the stereo if i wanted to for some strange reason. where did you get it and how much?

They don't have the commander as an option so which one did you buy?

The CRFF model ...on CravenSpeed(dot)com/products/The-Stubby-Antenna.html (I now added it to the above list for less confusion)

My 2010 Ram and Commander have same part number for the stock antenna.


I ordered two and were shipped to Canada... listed as about $20 each...

That is pretty short! and you still get good coverage? I love the look of these - this was the first thing I did to mine - the regular length ones kill me; like you mentioned whipping around, etc. Better look to the shorty's and good coverage. Looks good!

I put that on my rig about 4 months ago, and I love it, even though i don't listen to the radio anymore I still like the look and when you go offroading you don't have to worry about it whipping around.
