Question Pro Tuning Lab Lift

Anyone heard of these lift kits? they show different part numbers for WK and Xk, and seam not to use a spacer in the front but have made the clevis fork longer instead.

their web site is

Halo Projector Headlights, Euro Headlights, Altezza Tail Lights, LED Tail Lights, Turbo Downpipe, Wheel Spacers - ProTuningLab.com

the link doesnt go to the item. Probably similar to the Heavy Metal branded lifts on ebay.

No the link doesn't go to the item but it goes to their site and if you go to lifts and Jeep it will bring up all of their options and when you read the part numbers they are not the same for the WJ and the Xk as most other lifts are.

Bottom line is there is a new out of box kit near me that says it will fit a 2 wd or 4 wd WJ for 125.00. but their part number is different than the one they sell for a 2wd or 4 wd XK the lift is done by a longer clevis fork and comes with a new bolt that goes through both bottom ears, and reuse your old shocks, or new ones.

Just wondering if anyone has used this brand or style like it and ho did it work as the lower bolt seams to be the worst part of the job and this comes with one bolt not two. Does that limit the driveshaft travel?

Spacer on top or on bottom of the strut doesn't change the driveshaft angle any differently so Its effectively the same as something like a Rustys kit.

WK and XK are. Mostly. Just so the poster knows.

WK=2005-2010 GC
XK=2006-2010 Commander

Pretty much identical frame, engines, drivetrain, supension, wiring, etc.

Just don't count on SRT parts being interchangeable without alteration unless you know what you're doing.
Big Blue likes this.
