Core even admitted he entered late but I guess if the administrator allowed his entry I welcome the competition. I shouldve posted some different pics...

I agree its fun. It is nice to keep this forum alive and see how different the XKs are althought they are all the same. I was just calling it a competition being that in the end someone is a winner.

I think no matter what QD is better than QT and that 5.7 is better than 3.7. I think a nice set of aftermarket wheels is nicer then painting wheels. Picking wheels with the right backspacing is better then using spacers to get the same stance. LED taillights are better than stock. Bolt on style flares on the limited are better than the smooth. A cut bumper like Sals is better than stock but a guard is even better than that and of course a steel one like a49erfan's is the best. It all comes down to preference I suppose but all the Jeeps ever entered in this "friendly competition" can give lots of ideas to those customizing. I think the best custom vehicle comes from starting with the best stock vehicle. Congrats Core and good luck Jeff, enter again next month its tough to beat a couple of Hemi's but you have a really nice Commander.

It is all based upon opinion and yes I believe the HEMI is better than the other motors and QDII is better as well. But this is also a "pic" contest as well to show what your XK is and how you use it, better pics probably would have changed out come, maybe. But honestly besides QDII and wheels, Core actually has more mods than your XK does...

Like what? the skid plates and brush guard?

He has flowmaster I have Magnaflow. Airaid tube and drop in filter I have K&N CAI. Ranchos I have Bilsteins. Same lift, same tires (mine are bigger). Stock wheels and spacers and I have aftermarket wheels that give me 1.5" of extra backspace. Does he have a custom grille? LED taillights? Optima red top? Hawk brakes? painted calipers?

Some people don't care about LED lights or what brake pads you have. This isn't about adding up the number of mods you've done and claiming victory. I vote on looks first, "useful" mods (like skids) 2nd, and other mods last. Everyone has their own voting reasons so don't take it so personally. You have a very nice XK but side-by-side, Corey's has the looks & off-road capabilities mods that ultimately won my vote.

I'm not taking it personal. Just making it interesting. The only part that pissed me off is that the forum has rules and they are not being followed. If you dont follow the rules whats the point of having a contest. Maybe thats the military side of me though. We follow rules so everyone else can enjoy their freedoms.
