Exclamation Stalling!!!

Ok, I have posted on a few older threads about the stalling issue that appears to be widespread until you talk to someone at a dealership and they seem to have never heard of such a thing.
My 07 hemi limited 4x4 has stalled on me more times than i can count. It has stalled in park, drive, reverse, and neutral. It has stalled at stops, while backing out, and while driving down the road. I have done many things to try to fix it myself including new plugs (OEM champions properly gapped and dielectric greased), cleaned egr valve, replaced cam sensor, cleaned induction system, replaced several relays (just to be sure), replaced WIN module with new set of keys, and just recently had the dealership put in a new pcm under the 8yr 80k mi emissions grant.
I dont know what else to do and it is driving me NUTS!!!! I love my commander and i dont want to get rid of it, but if I cant fix this problem I will probably get rid of it and never own another chrysler product in my lifetime.
If anyone has found a solution to this so called "isolated" phenomenon please chime in and help to keep my freaking head from exploding

This stalling seems to be caused by different problems so it is hard to pinpoint. One thing is a bad ignition switch. So you might want to get a new ignition switch and see if that takes care of it.

x2 for ignition module. Can you describe the issue more like what happens specifically. Lights, Total power outage, no radio or anything.

06 Commander Limited HEMI. k&n drop in with air raid M.I.T . Aeroturbine 3030xl on factory exhaust pipe . Superchips tuned 93. Bilstein 5100 front @1.5 and 5100 on rear. Black on Brown.

I appreciate the quick responses. I have had the ignition switch checked out and that is what led to the finding of the faulty WIN (wireless ignition node) module.... Not saying that that completely rules out an intermittently faulty ignition switch, but it checked out fine at the dealership...supposedly.

The ignition switch was one of my first thoughts when this all started because when it "stalls" it is literally like someone turned the key off (trust me that is not what is happening as some would like to try and say). It started out as a once a month thing and has now progressed to the point of several times a day. There is no rhyme or reason to it. It can happen anytime under any circumstance. It is giving absolutely no DTCs...

More specifically it is exactly like turning the key to the accessory position. Radio doesnt skip a beat and headlights etc keep working (as far as ive noticed as i dont drive it much at night)

When it stalls do all of the dash lights light up like they do when starting the vehicle ?

yes. it acts as it normally would with the key in the on position and the engine not running. I just drove it a mile up the road to get dinner and it did this twice. It has also started to catch itself before it completely kills the engine and refires. It did that another two times in this same short trip. when it dies in motion there is a short of muffled "pop" and I'm starting to think maybe the throttle butterfly is closing because that "pop" sounds like an industrial diesel engine overspeed protection door that shuts over the blower in the event of engine overspeed. Just a thought and I am quickly running out of those. The thing that gets me is the lack of DTCs. Any faulty sensor or module should give a DTC at some point in time.

If I were you I would put in a new ignition switch and see if that cures the problem. If not, then we can move on to something else. Here is something else, check the wiring connection at the alternator. That is also a known problem.

Well No DTC usually rules out any sensor malfunction as the compooper would cache it and signal the light. The description reminds me of my zj 4.0 with the crank position sensor.. jeep would just shut off.. replaced sensor an an fine. When you go to restart the vehicle can you just crank it from the run position of do you have to turn it to the off position and back to stat/run?
