Hi Guys,

My First Tread . First of all Love this forum and the info I get out of this. Good on all of you.

I am in Australia and do not have access to all the wonderful products you have in America. So I rely on Ebay alot for my upgrades.

After reading everything about how good the after market Globes are I went to buy some today from the local Autobarn. As the hand book suggested that I needed a 9006 and a 9005 they could not figure out the 9145 for the fog light of what that meant so we will need your help to get me one.

When We tried to change the globe the Golobe on my Commander said H11 for the Low beam and the 9006 they gave me could not fit into that . Also I read at the back of the High beam and it said Sylvana H3U I think. I am not sure that if the handbook is wrong or Australia gets a different globe for the head light then the american.

All I am looking for is suggestion and a reliable ebay store where I can purchase the best available golobe for my lovely commander. I want to change the whole set the low beam the high beam and the foglights. With best street legal light possible. I am not so much into the blue tinge but would like abright white light.

Also why are my lights not 9006 and are H11.

Also what is the best way to explain this to the guy in the store as they become so dumb when we ask them these questions.

There may be a difference between the domestic (XK) and export (XH) model on the bulbs. However I thought a few people here had gotten the export headlight assemblies because of the clear signals and I don't remember any having problems.

The foglight bulbs are a little harder to find because they are not as a common a bulb as the headlight bulbs. I am running the Silverstar 9145STs in my fog light bulbs.
