ok so maybe i'll go with the 2.25 inch lift . would i be able to fit an 18x9 inch rim and 285x65x18 nitto's?
i guess the rims come with an offset so don't need spacers.

That is a no go on the tire size. The max on a 2.25" lift is 265x70x17= 32" tire. 285x65x18 = 32.5 You would get a lot of rubbing in the front.

The only person in here that I know of that is running close to that size if Phunkeydude and he's got a 4 inch lift with 285/70 R17.

After the lift, do you have ESP issues or do you just dis-engage it?

The ESP problem is only with the 4 inch lift.

I have a 4" and I have problems when I turn to tight...EVERYTIME I drive my XK I have to disengage mine..it's a pain in the ass..It sounds and feels like my power steering is going and it makes a moaning sound(enough to scare you to fix).....????
