I saw a Mopar brush guard at dealer today while having oil changed. It's sure a little one. Do members that have this item installed like it? Does it seems sturdy? Is the fit good? Any problems with them?

I haven't seen it in person yet, but I agree, it looks like it wouldn't protect a whole lot of front area.

It isn't large... it is more for aesthetic looks and light mounting and not necessarily designed for protecting your bumper like an ARB bull bar would. :-)

Has anyone seen any alternatives yet to the 'brush guard'? I'm primarily interested in mounting a couple big round driving lights in front of the grille. The 'guard' aspect of the device is not important to me.

Looks like the guard would work but I'd like to explore any options.

Thanks,

sorry no pics yet, but you can see the guard on my avatar. No, there isn't much to it, but it is made of metal, and once again just like the hood deflector, I got mine to protect that portion of the ever so flat section of the bumper it covers. plus, it looks real cool and gave me a place to mount some real lights!
