Here is what I've done to the XK that past two weeks. Installed a hitch, weathertech floor liners, Moto Medal M0950 rims (0 offset), and Goodyear Silent Armor 255/70/17 tires. I have front chrome tow hooks sitting in the basement. I also purchased some recovery gear. Now all I need to do is take it off road.

Thanks for the comments. The rims and tires really make it look more aggressive.
jeep5253 - I will take some closeups of the rims and post them today.

my800 - I am definitely ready to get it dirty. Just need to find someone who knows trails around here to go with.

Thanks. I will take you up on that offer. There are no legal trails near here, so I definitely have to do the drive. How does March sound? You pick a day that is right for you. I'm off all of March. Maybe we could go over some of the trails that you plan on taking us on in Sept.

I just saw similar wheels on a Chevy Tahoe and was wondering how those would look!

Would you tell me where you got them and how much you paid?

Looks fantastic!

I bought them from a place called Quality Tire here in Woodbridge, Va. Excellent place to deal with. Will definitely deal with them in the future. It was $217 a rim. After taxes and installation it was like $970. I just sold the Chrome Clads for $275 to my800, I'm selling the spacers to prudemonkey (he's got first dibs on them) for $240, and currently advertising the tires for $200 at work. So after all is sold, I'm coming up with like $240 out of my pocket.

Just saw this here, and the rims do look great! That was a good move, and the price seems excellent for the rims. Looks like I will be keeping my job (at least from the runors I hear!) - Will have the official announcement Feb 25, so I can take those off your hands as soon as I get confirmation!!! Thanks....

Completely sucks - have been living with a stomach ache for weeks now, I just want them to make the announcement already, and obviously hope that myself and my co-workers keep our positions. I'm not ready to go and find a new job!!

Those are the mopar tubular sidesteps. I don't have them on anymore. I broke one off when I was offroading, so I took the other one off also. My 2 little girls had used them for getting it and out and it worked good for that. Doesn't give much footing for adults though. Have to turn your foot sideways if you're trying to reach something on the roof. I didn't regret getting them at all as they looked good also.

Your truck looks really good man. I have a couple questions. You said your wheels were a 0 offset.....does that mean they sit laterally in the same spot as the stock wheels do? (I am keeping my stocks and having them powdercoated) I was thinking of going with the Rusty's 2" with 265 70's, ...yours look great.....but do you think I will NEED the spacers if I do go with the 265-70's instead of the 255-70's? I didn't see that you said you had the spacers....I was just wondering if I did do the 265's if I would NEED them or not. One last thing.....how is the ride with the Rusty's shocks? As smooth as before?
Anyway, great looking truck. I have the silver as well, and plan on slowly macking it out.:orangehat:

Thanks for the comments. The stock rims are not 0 offset, so you will need to get 1.25 or 1.5" spacers with the 265/70s if you plan on staying with the stock rims. I forget what the offset was on the stock rims, but it's not 0. If you go with 255/70s, you can go without the spacers. The Rusty's shocks are a little tighter than the stock shocks, but I personally thought that the stocks were a little too plush.

Thanks very much! This helped a lot. :) Your truck looks pretty level....almost like front got raised higher than the rear. I like the look a lot.

Thanks!!! Here's some updated pics from the Foilage run I did with Nova Jeepers a few weeks back. Since then I have permantly mounted a CB antenna. I also added a belly skid plate a few months back. I've been having the Rusty's lift kit on for almost 2 years now and I am satisfied with it. They also give great customer service. I also plan on adding Rock Sliders for Christmas.

Here's the link to the thread with the rest of the pics from the Fall Foilage Run....

did you do the rustys shocks yourself? did you need to buy shock boots for them? was that a hard project? I'm about to put an 2" RC lift on my commander and saw that they were just $33 bucks each on the rustys site so I figured I'd add them at the same time to get some more flex.... sorry for any noob questions, I'm just getting into the jeep thing.

also, youre in NoVA? I live in leesburg, are you going to the commander get together at GW national forest in August? its about 2 hours south on 81 from us and its a weekend event.
