If my radio is on when I turn the ignition off and remove the key the radio stays on. If it is turned off and I turn the ignition off and remove the key it will not come on until they key is in accessory like it is supposed to be.
I would asusme like any other car turning the ignition off and removing the key should turn off the radio, maybe I am wrong?
Any ideas?

radio, if on, turns off when the first door is opened.

Rooney2oons - I'll second that :D
You can also eject a CD with no key in the ignition or radio on (at least on the nav/sat)

Yep... on many newer cars this is a programmable feature as well, wherein you can set how long the accessories will run before shutting down if the door is not opened.

my company van stays on for 10 minutes after key is turned off. And turns off when the door is opened. Not Programable however.

Ok I re-tested and yes it does turn off when the door is opened, pretty cool. I would have felt stupid if I had gone to the dealer with my *problem* lol :) Thank god for this group.
