I was wondering if you could share any info, pics, or digrams you still have/remember about wiring up the manual switch for the QD-II front diff. I'm about to put one in my Commander and I don't want to screw up the wiring.
    Thanks,
    Greg

i got a 2008 commander....I've been looking at a set of 17x9 mickey Thompson classic locks. with -12mm offset and 4.5 backspacing. I am installing a 2" RC lift. with the new wheels, will I still have to use wheel spacers to fit 265/70r17? I want to stay away from wheel spacers if possible, so if I can't fit a 265/70, what will be the biggest tire I can fit. thanks in advance

I just wanted to thank you for a post that you did back in '07 on FAQ's on Tires, Lifts and Spacers! That has been the corner stone of my build. It allowed me to find the look I wanted and what I needed to do to get it there. I'm taking my 08 in today to have my Rocky Road lift (2 1/4") installed along with my **** Cepek rims with BF Goodrich All Terrain TA's installed. This was incredibly helpful to a gal that knew what she wanted but didnt know how to get there. Thank you so much for your thorough contribution to this forum!!!

I have a question about your black rock rims. Did you put on longer studs with the 1/4" spacer or are you just running stock studs? Also what is the backspacing on your rims too?

Is all 4in kits have any parts that need to be welded on? If so what's the issues of having welded on parts? And would it be a good idea to get new front struts? I'm looking at the Rustys 4.5in lift kit have you heard any horror stories about this lift?

hey question for ya. You've mentioned that you've changed a pinion seal before. I've been going over the manual and it says to install the pinon flange on pinion with flange installer. I do not have a installer (9616), any other recommendations on what to use? Hammer and a block of wood?
    Thanks

Hi name's ryan here. I had a few questions to ask you about concerning your phenominal garage posts.

When you put the disconnects on how did you determine the length on the adjustment? What do you do with the sway bar once it's disconnected? does it just float there or do you tie it with something? Also did you notice a big difference switching to the Bilstein 5150s? I am thinking heavily on switching out the shocks and the disconnects for some extra travel and ride comfort.
