Just curious as if you could answer a few questions for me? I've just purchased a 07 with a 6 disk head unit, and was wondering if the my-gig unit would work in the 07's. Is it fairly simple (plug and play) considering I know very little when it comes to these things, or would it be in my best interest to just go to a aftermarket unit. I really would like to remain the stock look however. Just would like to upgrade to u-connect and navigation. Thank you for any response on the above issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    hey meatball
had a cherokee 4L 4x4 prior to this vehicle...a tank...i'm a new commander owner...it's an '06 4.7 with about 57,000 km...bought it at 53,000 km and had both cracked exhaust manifolds replaced at 56,500, warranty thankfully...didn't make me feel comforted though...its a much more sophisticated vehicle, yes...but i feel like it's the first in a string...paranoid perhaps
can you give me a rundown on the 60,000km exclamation points ...warrantied up the ass, and if i 'feel' or 'hear' or 'see' a tweak here and there it means $0.00
i'll sing the praises of you and anyone who helps with heads ups
thanks much...my name is jeff, and i love jeep camping

Hey I noticed you were looking for a light bar for your Jeep. I'm selling the factory ones they have online, its the 2 light kit bar and I am only selling it for $500. I've never put them on, just opened the box. If your interested send me a PM. Thanks

so i added the new subs to the car. and wired them to the output of the jeeps amp. i dont lose too much power to the speakers. although i did notice some loss, but with the new bass it should help make up for it. i just have to move the volume up 3 extra ticks for it to be the same loudness.

im thinking of getting a new speaker amp. and then also a sub amp to attach to the speaker amp. but is there any way to attach the sub RCA adapter to the back speakers, cause for those, i dont worry as much with losing the power. where as the front, is where i really want the power to remain the same.

hey meatball, i see u are great with all the car audio things. so i am installing subs to my commander. and dont wanna get an aftermarket head unit. so i got RCA adapters. and instead of wiring it behind my stock unit to the rear speakers, i thought maybe i should wire it to the speaker outputs of the amp, to get stronger power. but im not sure what wires to actually attach it to. i attached it to the left input and right speaker input. but i want to find another spot so it doesnt draw so much power. cause i have aftermarket speakers put in. and it makes them so much quieter. any tips?

So to be honnest the jeep is the wife's but i like it as well and i would like it a little more if i had better sound dynamics and thus my question. i didn't want to jack VooDoo's post so i hope you don't mind.

you've obviousely removed the rear quarter trim panels so do you think that there would be room in either side to recess a sub 8"/10" and small box just a little something for whn the kids are not in the car...the wife won'd let me do a box tht takes up cargo or rear seat space...
If thats not an option what about under the second row if all the plastic trays are removed?
I want a factory seeming install.. just a speaker trim ring a little felt and plastic and touch up paint...
