Got a quick question. I tried searching but couldn't find an answer...
Do I have to remove the entire dash to pull out the air vents? I'm working on modifying one of the vents to use as a mount for my Garmin but before I try to yank the vent out, I want to make sure I don't break any tabs in the back.
FYI -- per the above diagram...its very simple to remove the dash vents.... just remove the hex bolts an pull the dash panel out far enough to gain rear clearance...there are 3 plastic clips that need to be disengaged to remove each round vent assy... btw -- 2 of my vents were "broken".... but upon inspection there is a small "dogbone" plastic part that connects the two doors of the vent... the dogbone had become dislodged .... so I simply re-connected the dogbone.... by aligning it and pressing/snapping it back in place.... ...then replaced the vents and all is good again...
Thats weird, some of my vents are practically falling out!
