This trail is near Cooke City Montana. off the LULU Pass road. it was sweet. there is still to much snow up there. we got in about 3 miles, the road is 7 miles long. we had to turn back because of snow. i had to deploy the winch 3 times to pull the commander over some tall drifts.

pictures are found here that are not posted here. ;)

Getting stuck on snow drifts, been there, done that, that's how I convinced the wife I needed a winch! =)

Love the pics, thanks for getting out as often as you do so we can live vicariously through you.

Looks like a good time. That snow looks pretty deep. Does it ever completely melt?

it was about 57 degrees up there. at that temp. snow melts at about 1-2 inches per day. it has been warm in the mountians since the first of june. there is still about 3-5 feet. so you can imagine there was a snow pack of 5+ feet up there.

yes i can operate my winch inside the commander.

my winch has wireless remote control. it works up to 10 meters. its very handy and works great. i can't believe how well it pulls.

i still have not killed the stock battery. as long as it holds up, i'll keep using it.

You need to go and buy yourself a 4 inch Superlift and get some more clearence. Also a set of 33x12.5 Nitto Mud Grapplers would be nice.

Sweet 4.7 !!
Looks like fun. Can't wait till I can find time to come up and visit.
Hey, I was thinking of heading down there to 4.7 land sometime too! Should put together some kind of outing.

(We could show up those AZ trails for sure!)
