Wiring question

I want to add a set off either slim led or 100watt halogen off road lights onto my bull bar. Has anyone piggy back wired off their stock foglights for their aux lights? Im curious that way i wouldnt have to run extra wirre or another switch into the cab but dont want to risk over loading and frying or overheating the factory harness or wires. So inputand opinions greatly appreciatted.

Thanks

The runs are so short I just prefer to run my own wires and relays. The system can be very touchy with all are electronics for me it's not worth it. Now if they were LED that would be a different story I guess.

Use a relay and the positive off the fog lights for the trigger wire on the relay. That way the power is actually drawn from the battery directly, and then just switched with the relay from the fog lights being turned on.
