My wife and I have houses in WI-summer, and in AZ-winter. We are thinking of leaving the 2010 Commander at the AZ house for the summer. Probably 7 months of storage. Good idea, bad idea?

I've stored my other toys for that long by disconnecting the battery, and adding 'Stable' to the fuel.

7 months in Arizona should be no problem at all except maybe too much heat. I assume it is in a garage?
Fill the tank (Stable is optional for 7 months), Disconnect the battery like you said is a good idea to prevent fire in case something shorts. It would be beneficial to connect the battery to a battery tender or something similar. Up here moisture in the interior is an issue causing mold and it is fixed with an air dryer but I don't think down there it would be a problem. Maybe someone from a hot climate will chime in on that one.

Oh and some rodent poison around could not hurt either.
