front drive shaft issues

ok so i had to remove the front drive shaft in order to fix the wires on the starter of my 2007 commander hemi. it came off pretty good, went back on even better, even made sure it was lined up with marks prior to removal. now after i reinstalled it when i put it in drive or reverse, i hear loud spinning(from engine or tranny?) but no movement when i hit gas. when i put it back in gear it grinds. if i activate 4LO it makes no sounds at all, sounds normal and will move, but it is only the rear wheels moving, nothing from the front. does anybody have any suggestions, chilton does not make a book for it and chrysler won't talk to me until i bring it in. any help will be greatly appreciated.

i'm sure you already checked this but do you have the transfer case in neutral?

its QD2, the only was to operate the transfer case is with the lever by the shifter.

and there is a little button beside that which buts the tcase into neutral. you need a needle or pen to push this button.

ok tried putting transfer case in nuetral and it didn't do anything, just talked with chrysler they told me i dropped the bearings from the drive shaft into the housing. so does anybody have any knowledge of how to put them back in.
