Hi, I am new to the forum. I have a 2006 Hemi and I already installed a Magnaflow cat-back. The exhaust, however, is not loud enough for me. I don't want to take off the muffler or resonator since I spent almost $600 dollars on the exhaust system. Instead, I was thinking of replacing the stock cat converters with high flow converters, which will hopefully make my Commander a bit louder and less restrictive. In order to get the right universal cat, I need accurate measurements of the converter and pipes. Does anybody know what the dimensions are?

I'd be careful when messing around with the converters on your XK. I'd hate to see you swap in high flow cats and have an issue with the check engine light. And once you cut the old ones off and if it causes issues your talking about $900 for the oem cats.

And... If you are in a vehicle inspection area you mail fail emissions and have even more issues when you go to register your vehicle.

Im not going for the racing cats though. I live in california so I have to get the 50-state converters not the 49-state. Since these are more similar to the OEM cats, do you still think I'll have a problem passing inspection?
