So currently the UCA are made by two companies, Jeepin by Al and Rocky Road? There is a big price difference, any comments on quality and customer service?

07, had a problem with the customer service with rocky road. To make a long story short he ended up canceling his order because of the service and got the Jeepinbyal ones, which I guess he is really pleased with.

I contacted Rocky Road and they didn't have them in stock but said they are making some that should be ready next Friday. I got a reply back from JBA and I'll more than likely be dealing with them. No reply from HM Engineering.

I've had my JBA UCA'S installed for a few days now and so far I am very pleased. I did end up getting a defective boot on one of the UCA'S and called JBA and they are sending me a new one. No questions asked. They are also sending me all the hardware for my 4xguard belly skid that was missing in the package when they were owned by the previous owners.

I disassembled my uca's this weekend. Found out that both univalves are loose in their sockets but I cannot get the circlip out to inspect them. That said it appears that they rest in some sort of pressed in socket that has a worn out bushing of some sort.

I also modified the poly bushings to allow grease to flow around them, and trimmed the zerks so that they no longer bite into the bushing allowing me to actually grease them.

Anyone know the actual parts inside the cup holding the uniball?

The ball joints aren't serviceable you just press in new ones.
