Well, the XK is going, 2011 Camaro SS - Here I come!

Yup, the time has finally come, my ducks are all in a row and I placed my order for a 2011 Chevy Camaro 2SS/RS.

Should be built in June some time and then delivered mid July, early August!

Can't wait.

Still love the Jeep, but it's going to have to go in order to help pay for the Camaro.

It's been fun on here with loads of great information! Thanks guys!

If anyone local to the DFW wants to buy a 2006 XK in fantastic condition, only 45k miles, fully loaded Limited with a HEMI, then send me a PM!

I dunno about that wait time.
The last two SS's I got involved with, from confirmation to dealer arrival was five weeks.
Most recent one delivered two weeks ago....A SS LT1 6a.
If all goes by the numbers, yours should be there by the end of June.....more likely the third week of June.

BTW, what colors/stripes? 6m or 6a.....inquiring minds (and noseyness) wish to know.

I've ordered a 2SS with the RS package. It's a manual, Inferno Orange Metallic, with black interior and Cyber Gray Metallic rally stripes just like the concept convertible was!

As mentioned, I've placed my deposit down and my order, but the order for the 2011s doesn't officially go in the system till May 6th. The first build date of the 2011s is June 7th. So it will be 6 to 8 weeks from then, so I am thinking, late July, early August.

Dealer said it could be July 4th weekend, but I think that is a little optimistic!

So till then... if anyone wants to buy a nice, well looked after, low mileage XK...

Had I read your post carefully I would have picked up on the 2011 part.
I am able to get pre-production info.....I'll keep an eye open for any new developments related to the 2011.
