Stubby Antenna

Craven Speed Stubby - CRFF
  • Jeep Commander (2006-2010)
  • Dodge RAM (2001-2012)
  • Ford Escape (2008-2012)
  • Ford Explorer (1995-2010)
  • Ford F-150 (1997-2008)
  • Ford F-150 (2009-2012)
  • Ford Mustang (1994-2010)
  • Ford Raptor (2010-2012)
  • Jeep Grand Cherokee (1999-2010)
  • Jeep Liberty (2002-2007)
no breaking off, no whipping, no snaggin on brush, easier access to windshield...

main drawback.... about 40 mile range limit vs stocker's 55+ miles...(dependant on terrain and interferance of course)

how much? i think that the stock antenna in that location is so ugly, that i just took mine off altogether. i have sirius so i literally NEVER use the radio. but that stubby doesnt look too bad. i may get one just to have the option to use the stereo if i wanted to for some strange reason. where did you get it and how much?

The CRFF model ...on CravenSpeed(dot)com/products/The-Stubby-Antenna.html (I now added it to the above list for less confusion)

My 2010 Ram and Commander have same part number for the stock antenna.

I ordered two and were shipped to Canada... listed as about $20 each...

That is pretty short! and you still get good coverage? I love the look of these - this was the first thing I did to mine - the regular length ones kill me; like you mentioned whipping around, etc. Better look to the shorty's and good coverage. Looks good!

I put that on my rig about 4 months ago, and I love it, even though i don't listen to the radio anymore I still like the look and when you go offroading you don't have to worry about it whipping around.
