Tranny

I have had two new transmissions put in in the last couple of months. The "transmission over temp" display still pops up. I called the dealer yesterday to let him know that the transmission fluid is still leaking. He told me, "Yes I know it's leaking, but we drove it and it ran fine." It is also make loud noises and when I turn it off, you can hear a whining noise. Is it supposed to do that?

A leaking trans is not normal no matter how well it's working it won't be working for long. They need to fix.

The lemon law is only applicable to new vehicles.

Not necessarily. It also may depend on the state. And how do you know what year his is and it may still be under warranty?
