Tyres and spacers

hello, Just managed to get hold of some jeep wrangler wheels and tyres 245 75 17 and was told that they would fit my standard commander (by the jeep dealer.....lies all lies) question is the wheels foul the brake calliper so I need spacers if I want to use the new wheels, still have old ones but road salt has knackerd them, hence the new. what thickness of spacer do I need and will I need to lift the car if so are these spacer kits 2" ok, or am I on a hiding to nothing with these wheels and tyres. cheers

2 inch lift and at least 1/4 inch wheel spacers up for t to clear the caliper brackets.
