Rare Snowfall !
We had a rare coastal snowfall this evening !

So yeah you guys got snow, but you are used to it. Here we average a snowfall maybe once every 10 years and that is why I said it was rare.

Gas mileage ?

We know that we didn't buy our Commanders for their fuel mileage...
Mine doesn't get used much but using it in a snow storm is a rare treat !

The Commander was parked in the far corner behind our 3 other cars that you can see in the photo...
The little one behind the work van is a tiny Honda civic... I cleared the windshield a bit and out of the hole it went ! It was not even
difficult...

Recently the rear differential went without oil in it... In our winter, I didn't see I couldn't catch the oil leak before the noise started... Upon inspection the transfercase was also badly leaking... Luckily our Jeep still had 300 kilometers worth of valid warranty... We had to pay about $ 1,000. cdn for
consummables but we did dodge a 7 or $ 8 thousand bullet...

My wife wants me to get rid of the Commander but a good snowstorm is always handy to remind me just how much I love my Commander !
