My 2010 QTII 5.7 averages around 15mpg with a mix of highway and city.

However........

when coasting down a steep hill

in neutral

being careful not to touch the gas or brake

with a convenient mpg reset at the top

I have seen

all the way up too.................

22.5MPG!!!!

According to GasCubby, Large Marge is doing 13.7 city/highway average. After installing the CAI, mileage improved for highway driving, but my current gig has me doing a lot of short distance, stop-and-go driving.

I found no improvement/decrease from the CAI at all. My thought was that an extra 10-15 hp would keep MDS active longer but I just didn't see that happen. I was also unsure if the proximity from the intake to the engine in a tight engine compartment really makes it a "cold" air intake. This is probably leading toward a different thread, so the answer is I didn't notice it.
