Getting Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) without DTC reader

Found this video in Youtube to show how to get the Diagnostic Trouble Codes DTC (if any) without the need to get DTC reader.

I knew about this was working on older Jeeps but didn't know it is also working in the new Commander as well.

I tried it and got this code (U0121), googled it and found it (Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module), and that was due to the switch I made to disable the ABS fuse manually to turn off the Traction Control when offroading.

Ok, I turned off and on about 6 times just getting outside temp reading, What am I doing wrong? Not holding my mouth right?

Only three times, and on the 3rd time you keep it in ON ,, I think you need to be a bit fast as in the video

I get the same thing, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I do it fast like in the video, also tried it a not so fast.
