Getting DVD to work with Ignition off

When filling up my Commander it drives the kids up the wall (and therefore me) as there doesn't seem anyway of keeping the DVD for the rear seat passengers on without leaving the keys in the ignition. Which isn't very clever from theft point of view as you might end losing the car and the kids - mind you having said that !??!?!?! - the kids would be far more effective deterrent than Tracker etc.)

Seriously though, is it a relatively straightforward hack to bypass whatever kills the power to the DVD and Screen in the rear seat.

Any help gratefully received.

Big Ricky - The DVD unit on the back of the console lifts right off without any screws and you will see the wire diagram listed on the DVD player. That may help you find the correct wires.
