Replacing factory REC nav 2006 Commander

What do I need to buy other then the unit and bazel?

Factory navigation screen is broke. It seems like it will be cheaper to replace with a aftermarket unit.

If you purchase a unit from Crutchfield, they will provide you with the necessary connections to make whatever you purchase plug and play, if you are only going to swap the head unit.
