Flickering Headlights

My headlights in my 06 will just randomly flicker on and off and even sometimes shut off for a second. I want to trace the wires to see if there is a short or something may be falling off its connection point. Does anyone know what the color code is on the wires I should be looking at? Thanks

Hi there - I purchased an '06 Commander Limited recently and immediately experienced headlight/dash panel/NAV screen flickering. It happened pretty consistently. One of the other members of this forum tipped me off to the fact that there were many 2006 vehicles with faulty headlight switches. I recently replaced the turn signal stalk which houses the headlight switch and that was the fix. Part cost was $91.00, very easy to replace yourself.

I need to do this. If I get the part, how do I go about actually replacing it?
