Version???

I just had the navagation system put into my Jeep Commander. How do you open the DVD slot to see which version is installed? I read the manual and they talk about installing upgrade, but nothing on how to open it up. I want to check which version they installed. When I call it up on the screen, I get the following information:

Application Version: 02.04.00
Database Version: 05.0503.00.072506.0003

How do I know if this is the latest version? Help!

Thanks, Bette

Re: Version???

Navteq's web site tells the latest version.

You are running the AE version which is the latest version. The next version should be expected around Q3 of 2007.

Re: Version???

To get the DVD out you must remove the slot cover. The navigation system manual describes how to do this. I would use a jewelers screwdriver instead of a toothpick though.
