Jeep Commander Audio problem

Hi all, this is my first post. I am doing this on behalf of an owner of a commander, i am in the uk to start with. The drivers side speaker is rattling, it is the boston acoustics premium speaker system.

How do i go around getting this replaced? what size speakers and can i just do a straight swap or is it more complicated than that? I have read that they are 6x9's but they seem to just play the low notes like mini subwoofers??

Can i remove door panel and swap for another set of boston acoustics or not??

Thanks all

Lee

Do you know how the system is actually wired to work as I don't understand why the 6x9 are just producing bass notes...

Is there a particular model??

The dash speakers provide the higher notes.
