6-Disc upgrade for 08 Commander

Hey all first post here, wife has an 08 Commander with factory single disc player with Sirius radio and standard speakers. Dealer had no models with the 6-disc units, except higher end limiteds with Navigation that she did not need.
Can the 6-disc swap in without a problem...?

Thanks in advance Rob.

Welcome to the site! Yes, you can put any of the 4 radio's available in the 08 line up.

good to know..Salesman wouldn't let me know. Usally they have a display in the showroon with the different types, but they took them down. Traded in a 05 Durango for this and so far we are very happy, with no complaints....

No, MyGig has a single CD drive.

To play more than one CD, place the CD in the drive one by one and let the unit rip them to MP3 (which according to the RIAA is illegal... ... the RIAA is a bunch of &^%#*$' idiots) and then play them as MP3s.

That was actually a lawyer for the RIAA, and the RIAA came out and said that the lawyer mispoke, they are still a bunch of jerkoffs.

I have found that the mygig rips super suck slow. The best thing to do is to just xfer them all at once using an external hd and the usb connection.
