where is the speed sensor?

does anybody on here know exactly where the speed sensor is on our commanders? the reason im asking is because my stereo guy wasnt able to locate it when he installed my aftermarket nav, he just didnt hook it up to the speed sensor since he couldnt find it... so when theres no signal the arrow is always gettin dispositioned... any help?

i found this for a wrangler 2006 try it.



VSS Wire: AUTOMATIC TRANS. LOCATION 15- 4 CONNECTOR ECM- RIGHT GREEN CONNECTOR POSITON 32, MANUAL TRANS. 3 CONNECTOR ECM POSITION 13 BLACK CONNECTOR
VSS Wire Color: AUTOMATIC LT. GREEN/WHITE or GREEN/BROWN or MANUAL WHITE/ORANGE
VSS Pulse: AUTOMATIC 38,600 MANUAL 8000
VSS Tach Wire: IF MANUAL TRANSMISSION USE CLUTCH SWITCH 250-4206
Tach Signal Wire Color: WHITE/BLACK
Brake Switch Positive: PINK/BLUE
Brake Switch Negative: WHITE/TAN

Time for a new stereo guy......installers in the "know" simply order a CAN interface and make thier life much easier.

This is a must have especialy if you have the Boston Acoustics System and want to retain the amplifier.
