Just purchased an 06 Jeep commander Limited CRD, so still learning all the controls yet, does anyone know if you can pick up TV through the VES as the brochure shows it and the remote says programme up & down ?

And how do i go about obtaining TV ?

No, you can not get TV on a 2006, 2007, or 2008 with the VES. But a satellite TV option (Sirius Backseat TV) is available on the 2009 model.

Maybe a tv tuner would work.

Dont know about your system specifically, but a tv tuner wouldnt work. All the stations have gone to digital signals now , so you would need a digital box to de-scramble the signal, in addition to a tv system of course.

As mentioned previously, the only option for TV is via Sirius Backseat TV. There are currently only three channels available: Disney, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon. There have been discussions of adding to the channels, but nothing has come to fruition as of yet.

Didn't anyone notice the OP said his Commander is a CRD?

To SSR200: Where are you located? I doubt your VES will work with TV reception, but depending on your location, maybe some suggestions can be offered.
