Tips/Suggestions?

Planning on doing front rotors and pads, replacing trans filters, and spark plugs.
Im in the process of ordering everything and was wondering if anyone has an tips/tricks/suggestions/parts?
I need to get this all done in one day so im ordering things i prob won't need like brake hardware but just dont want to be sidelined in middle of the project.

I havent been happier with my Hawk pads. I didnt do rotors when I did them but looking at doing rotors in the near future and found a lot of options on rockauto.com. I am going with the drilled and slotted they sell (forgot manufacturer) for all corners.

When I did plugs I just went with the better than stock recommended by the parts store. Not the most expensive and not the cheapest. Somehwere in the middle that I knew would get me another 100k miles
