Anyone Running 245/70/17 on stock rims?

Is anyone running 245/70/17 tires on their stock rims? If so are you getting any rubbing?

How about 255/65/17 on stock rims? Any rubbing?

Thanks,
Nick

Enter the tire size in the search function and you will be able to answer this question yourself. Within the next month or so, I plan on getting a set of Wrangler Silent Armor 255/65/R17. Just waiting for a sale! Compared to my original Forteras, these are about 1/2 wider and 1/2 higher, about 1/4 inch larger all around. (Info found at goodyear.com) According to the members here, there will be no rub issues.

He was asking about the 245/70's, not the 245/75's. I'm not trying to jump on you in any way, just figured that you might have misread that.

I am running Firestone Destination ATs, 245/70/r17 s with no issue whatever. I am curious if anyone eles is running this size about what you are getting for mileage. Mine seems to have dropped considerably.

I was told Goodyear was discontinuing the Silent Armour. I wanted to get that same tire.

I do have 245 70 17's on stock rims, but I also have 2" Spidertrax spacers.

The 2" gives it a wider stance and helps you stay out of the ruts since you sit a little wider.

I hope not, I want to buy one more Silent Armor for a spare and put all 5 into rotation.
