Biggest Tire on 2008 Overland with 2" RC Lift (18" Wheels)?

So I see all of the info on how big of tires you can put on a Commander with 17" wheels and the 2" RC Lift. But I have a 2008 Overland, so my wheels are 18". Just getting ready to put on the RC 2" lift.

So on 17" wheels, looks like you can go to 265/70/17 and be OK.

What about with 18" wheels, how big can I go, without rubbing? If my math is right, I think 265/65/18 would be about the same size as the 265/70/17, but wondering if anyone has actually done/seen this size work.

Thanks... Chris

Depends on the offset of the wheels you have. Anymore than a +25 (ie..+18,+11), there is a very good chance of rubbing.

You are correct. A 265/65R18 is the same size as a 265/70R17.

That tire size will definately work since there is no difference between the two except for the diameter of the wheel. Well that and the sidewalls on the 265/70R17's will be a half inch taller.
