Anyone using 265's with a 2" lift?

http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_commander_2.html
It states recommended tire size: 265's

265 65 17
265 70 17

probably street use only or they are trimming the pinch welds.
My Liberty had some 265's but I had to trim the pinch welds and cut plastic:

I'm using Falken Rocky Mountain ATS 265/70's on the 2" RC lift. Did the pinch weld mod.

I did the pinch weld mod at the same time I did the lift anticipating that it would rub. I also reformed the wheel well with a hot air gun a bit. My tire will just barely rub the plastic at full lock right where the pinch weld would have been.
