right offset to miss bolt

I have 4 xk aev pintler that came with my commander when i bought it used. I just upgrade to 265/70r17. Now my problem is my spare is a stock rim and I know if I put that size tire it will hit the bolt. I am think about getting a cheap steel rim to replace it. I have trouble finding one with the same offset as the pintler. Can i run a tire with different offest from the others? Also if i cant find a the same do i want to go up or down in offset?

It won't hit the bolt. But it might rub the fender well a little. Do you have wheel spacers installed ?

No I dont. I thought people had to get spacers or right rim to avoid cutting it.

With a 265/70 you will be dang close to the bolt. I did it for a little while and I literally had like 1 mm clearance. If your gona get another wheel, just get as close to the Pinter offset as you can, it won't matter if its a bit off. Your stock rim with a 255/75 could work also probably.

If the tire is not touching the bolt, it will never touch the bolt. The tire can not move so that it will touch the bolt.

I was also using street tires with about 20% tread. I don't think a new all terrain would clear the bolt in a 265/70.
