will these tires fit?

I currently have a 2010 Commander with a 2" OME lift, Rubicon wheels and spacers. The stock 255/75/17 are wore out and am looking at replacing them with 265/70/17. Will these fit with my rims and spacers? There are just more options in 265/70/17 Thanks in advance.

As long as your spacers are less than 1.5", they should fit with minor rubbing. Most websites would recommend going with a 9" wide rim with that wide of a tire, but I've heard of people running that tire on the stock rims. I just installed that same size tire on a 17x9 rim (no spacers b/c my wheel has enough backspacing) and in addition to the slight rubbing in the back of the front wheel wells, I also had to trim my front fender a bit to prevent rubbing when wheels are compressed during a turn.

Below is a link to my post with the new tires/wheels if you want to see what that size tire would look like and how much I had to trim of the front fenders.

Those are not the stock tires. The stock tires are 245/70/17.

First off Jeep5253 the stock commander tire size is 245/65R. Not 245/70R17

Also he said he has the OME lift with rubicon wheels so 255/75 would be the stock tires that came on those wheels.

Ive got that size on mine with a 1.5" spacer. Minor rubbing used to occur till I cut things back in there. Might need to do the pinch weld mod if you havent yet.

Also of note, different brands and tread designs will be slightly different sizes. My bfg km2s rub slightly when new. A wrangler mtr with kevlar in that size is even bigger by another 1/4inch or so. A regular street tire tends to be slightly smaller than both. Check out the manufacturers actual tire specs to see the real world size of whichever ones you're looking at.

Which tires did you get? I wish my km2s were siped. Awful slippery when wet.
