Sticky weights?

I'll be a doing a little upgrade on the XK soon...OME lift, AEV pintlers and Duratracs

Wondering if anyone has used sticky weights on their wheels and how they hold up on a vehicle that sees all types of weather?

I use them on my 'nice weather' car, but I don't know if they'll stay stuck on when subjected to snow and numerous trips thru the car wash in winter. I'd rather not have to use the bang on weights if I can avoid it. Worst case scenario, can the wheel be balanced with the bang on weights on the back side of the wheel?

I've had them on my rims for nearly 2 years. Maybe it depends on the quality, but the ones I have on there stick pretty good - almost too good. I can't get the residue crap off easily when I have them balanced. They've never came off by themselves either. My Jeep sees all kinds of weather.
