telling CPU new tire size

So my deal dose not know if they can tell my 06 base commander what size tires it has. Putting the RR 2 1/4 spacer lift on the jeep next weekend so I can put 255/70/r18 on it and I called local jeep dealer to see about the alignment and if they can tell my jeep the new tire size and all they can tell me is they don't know they can tell my CPU the new tire size . Anyone have any info on this

Question for those that have used the programmer: Once the changes have been made to correct the tire size/correct speedo reading, if the programmer is disconnected, do those changes remain?
