Wheel Spacers - Are they required for 2" lift?

I am starting to plan out a parts list for my upcoming lift.

so far, i have:
-General Grabber AT2 265/70/17
-Stock Rims
-RC 2" lift
-MaxEnergy Tuner

I had a few questions regarding wheel spacers.
1. Are they required for the parts I have listed?
2. What, if any, benefit would there be for going 1", 1.25", etc.

I would rather not get spacers... but if they are required, I will.

Thanks in advance for all answers,

John

For the 265/70/17 tires you will need spacers. Go with at least the 1.25". You will also have to do the pinch weld mod to prevent rubbing.

I would recommend wheels spacers. It makes the jeep look more bada$$ as it has a wider stance with them. Also would recommend doing the pinch weld mod. It's very easy and will ensure no tire rub

Depending on many miles you have on your struts, bushings, ball joints etc. you might consider upgrades/replacing while you have the susspension apart. I did mine in stages and ended up paying for a few allignments.

75,000 miles. What upgrades would you suggest? Now would be the time since the suspension components will be exposed and I will need an alignment after the installs.
