New Wheel/Tire/Lift

I'm a new owner of a Black Jeep Commander Limited 4x4 4.7L. It has stock everything and I'm looking to make a few upgrades.

Wheels: For the wheels I'm looking to get some XD Series Addict rims that are 17". I'm still deciding on whether to get the all black ones or the machine ones since my Commander is Black. If y'all have any other suggestions of nice looking rims please feel free to leave a message!

Tire: Right now I'm looking at the Nitto Terra Grapplers. I like the look of them and by the amount of positive reviews they seem like a solid tire for what I'm looking to do, which is mainly a DD but can get a little dirty when I want to. The tire size I'm looking at is 255/70/17 or the 265/70/17. The only set back is whether the 265 will rub or not.

Lift: Finally I bought a Daystar 2" Spacer lift that should arrive in the next few days. My one question is will I still need tire spacers to clear the 265 tires though?

I'm sorry if all these sound like stupid questions but this is my first Jeep. Any other suggestions for what I should do would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

What's the width and back spacing of the wheels your looking at getting. The whole point of getting wheels is so that you don't have to run wheel spacers. For the size tire your looking to run I wouldn't recommend getting anything wider than a 17x8 wheel

if you run the 265/70r17 and don't have any rubbing let me know. I am running a 2"RC lift with 17x8 XD spy wheels and 255/70r17 Falken Rocky Mountain ATS with no rubbing. A lot of people on here has said you have to do a pinch weld mod in order to run 265/70. If you do deciede to run the 265/70 let me know. Thanks
