Aev wk pintlers and 285 tire

I'm putting on aev pintlers wk with a 285 tire. Would this rim/tire combo touch the bolt ? Would I need aftermarket ucas ?

How'd this project work out? I thought the AEVs were no longer available for WKs?

JK Pintlers are available @ AEV

Size: 17" x 8.5"

Bolt Pattern: 5x5

Offset: +10mm

Approximate Backspacing: 5.2"

Should fit no problem. Almost an inch less backspacing means way more room for wider tires.

Thanks. Saw that on their site. Seemed that a some of the discussion here on forum indicated that they wouldn't work well on our XKs.

Trialbyfire had the Pintlers, paired with the 4" superlift. He discovered that the tie rod rubs the inner lip of the rim at full lock.

That looks like something that a small spacer would fix
