Help Please

Hi I have a 2008 Jeep Commander Limited 5.7L Hemi and I just recently purchased a 2.25in lift from Rocky Road. I was wondering what my maximum wheel and tire size would be. Is 18in Wheel possible? Thanks!

Jeep Commanders ranging from the 2" spacer lifts to the 3.5 Rock Krawler kit can fit the following tires WITHOUT wheel spacers and no rubbing:

245/65R17 (Stock Tire Size)
245/70R17
245/75R17
255/65R17
255/70R17

Jeep Commanders ranging from the 2" spacer lifts to the 3.5 inch Rock Krawler kit can fit the following tires WITH wheel spacers but will cause minor rubbing: (MINOR TRIMMING OF THE REAR PLASTIC FENDER WELL AND BENDING OVER OF THE PINCH WELD REQUIRED)

255/75R17
265/65R17
265/70R17

18" wheels are fine also.

I am installing 255/70r18's in the next two weeks and expect to deal with the pinch weld as these are the same height as a 255/75r17

Great calculator for determining tire size.

Generally anything wider than 255 will hit "The Bolt" unless you change to a wheel with numerically less backspacing or run wheel spacers.
