255/70R17, stock wheels, no lift, no rub?

Does anybody know off-hand if the 255/70R17 Goodyear All Terrain Adventure w/Kevlar tires will fit with no issues on a stock Commander?

My plan was to slowly buy all my parts to lift my Commander and put them on all at once (lift kit, shocks, struts, UCA, LBJ, and tires) but I came across a good deal that was hard to pass up and I'm actually picking them up this evening and wondering if I can even have them put on now or just be patient and wait until I have everything lol.

They might rub flexed out a bit, or at the steering locks. But for the most part on the street I'm sure they'd be fine.

Wow, that's almost two inches bigger in diameter and less than half an inch in width. Hmm, what to do? What to do? lol. Like you said, they might be fine on the road.

I'd hate the put them on and find out they rub and have to pay again to put the original ones back on. At this pace, due to other financial priorities, I probably won't have everything until the fall, maybe in time for winter. Still at work thinking about this, trying to decide...

Plenty of guys running 245/70r17 completely stock with no problems at all. Some even running 245/75r17

Width wont be an issue for "the Bolt." Worst cast scenario you can do the pinchweld mod and you should be fine. Which is very easy.

Pull the trigger! The beauty of that size is it will still look good after you lift it.

Thanks for the feedback. Well I picked up the tires but installing them then and there was not an option. Sam's club wouldn't do it because they weren't the OEM size; not surprised. They currently have $80 off a new set of Goodyear tires plus I had a $200 gift card from signing up with DIRECTV so I couldn't have gotten a better deal.

One item checked off the list and on to the next parts needed...

Nice deal! I wouldn't be concerned about fitting them. I had 245/75r17 Revo 2s and had no rubbing of any sort even with some flexing. It was AFTER I added the wheel spacers and lift that I started getting rubbing issues!

Seems like I shouldn't experience any issues. Part of me wants to do it ahead of the lift but I almost rather would like to put it all together at the same time and have my jaw drop at how much better everything looks all together lol. I will keep you guys posted if I put them on before the lift and report any rubbing issues.

Yeah the spacers are what put you into the pinch weld.
