3" spacer lift max tire.

Just bought a 3" spacer front and rear for my 06 commander. I also bought 1.5" spidertrax spacers. I'd like to avoid new rims if possible. Looking for a recommended max size for mostly on road / light trail use.

Specifically which kit did you buy?

They are often listed as 3" when really they lift the front more than the rear to level the vehicle out or something along those lines.

The "heavy metal" ebay stuff exaggerates their advertised lift numbers.

I'll have to measure the spacer sizes, it was a cheap topguncustomz. They had the lift and level sets, but this was 3 front and rear. I did not select a lift and level due to the fact thst I tow an ATV trailer. Leveling the vehicle is not recommended if towing. That would push the rear end lower than the front, voiding the angles purpose. But anyway, I will have to measure them. I didn't even think of rock krawler. They are right here in my town.

Turns out all 4 pieces are 3" front and rear. I'll be using 1.5 wheels spacers. Still have to find a max tire size for a stock rim.

With my cheap ebay 3" lift kit, max is 265-70-17 for the tires.

Note you will need offset otherwise your tire may rub the top ball joint
