255/55/18 General Grabbers

i bought a set of used 18" rims with newer TPM's and was wondering if 255/55/18 tires will fit with no leveling kit installed. (Specifically General Grabber A/T 2's. I will be installing either the leveling kit or a rough country lift but not for a while. I really want to get away from the 22" wheels on the Jeep now.

Any feedback is appreciated thank you.

Yeah those should be shorter than stock tires, and they are not too wide to cause problems either. You are fine.

I was able to fit my 265/70R17's without any lift or modifications (although it was tight - I wasn't rubbing at all), so, I was thinking he'd be fine.

I was a little unsure about the 18 inch rims though.

TPMS may not function so be ready for that.

If you plan to lift I'd suggest getting the tallest tire that you can stuff for now. You can definitely fit 255/60 and probably can get 255/65's in there.

265/60 should work
